COVID-19 Case Reporting

St. Peter Lutheran Macomb is following all contact tracing and reporting requirements per the Macomb County Health Department. Specifically, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) issued an Emergency Order requiring K-12 schools to provide public notice to the school community about probable and confirmed cases of COVID-19 within 24 hours.

During the 2021-2022 school year, we will post information on this page as St. Peter Macomb is informed by the Health Department of school-associated cases of COVID-19 amongst students, teachers, staff members, volunteers, or any other person who was present on school property or at a school function under circumstances that may result in the transmission or contraction of COVID-19 during their infectious period.

If the Macomb County Health Department identifies your child as a close contact with a confirmed case, you will be contacted by phone. After all students who have been directly impacted are contacted, a letter will be sent to alert parents of a positive case within the school building.
