“Nothing to Prove” Women’s Bible Study

We are excited to announce the Women’s Fall Bible Study – “Nothing to Prove” by Jennie Allen. Studies will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 7:00 p.m. OR Thursday, Sept. 19, at 12:30 p.m. Both will meet at HIS Rock. Too many of us walk through life feeling like we don’t measure up. We always seem to thirst for more. We think if we could only work harder or be better, we could be enough. But the truth is , we will never be enough and we don’t have to be! In this eight-week Bible study we walk through key passages in the Gospel of John that demonstrates how Jesus is enough. We don’t have to prove anything because Jesus has proven everything. Discover how thirsty hearts can ONLY be quenched by the Living Water. The cost of the study guide is $15. We hope to see you there and please invite a friend or two! Please use the link below to register.

The Forge – Women’s Bible Study

Jesus focused His time and attention on walking with God and making disciples. Shouldn’t we?

In His wisdom, He chose to invest deeply in the lives of twelve men. He saw them, called them, taught them, saved them, and then sent them into the world to bear witness to what He had done for them.

This five-week small group study uses featured clips from the new Kendrick brothers’ movie, “The Forge,” to ignite a passion for knowing Christ personally, following Him sacrificially, obeying Him willingly, and helping others become disciples of Christ.
The world doesn’t need another strategy, and it needs men and women who are devoted to Jesus and committed to helping others know and follow Him through lifelong discipleship.

We are so excited to host this 5-week study for the winter term for women – members AND guests. Our prayer is you will join us on the journey with Jesus as He teaches us to see, give, lead, invest, and send like HIM!

If you have any questions, please contact Susan Meyer (586.255.5773) or Lisa Compton (586.709.7699).
