GriefShare (Surviving the Holidays and Divorce Care)
Our 13-week GriefShare program is in full swing. It is not too late to join us as each lesson is independent of the others. We meet Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. and Thursday mornings at 10:00 a.m. In November, we will not meet on Tuesday, November 26, and Thursday November 28, in honor of Thanksgiving. If you are grieving please consider joining us. Also, if you know someone who is enduring the ache of grief, please share this information with them.
Also, please note that on Sunday, November 17, at 2:00 p.m., we will also have a special session of Surviving the Holidays DivorceCare.

Advent by Candlelight
Come celebrate a festive evening filled with food, worship, fellowship and a message about the Miracles and Mercies of Christmas! Message by Autumn Casiglia, Director of Adult and Family Ministries at Faith Troy.
Details:
Location- Fellowship Hall St. Peter Macomb
When- December 3, 2024 6:00 p.m. arrival, 6:30 program start
Signup to host a table. You can host or cohost a table that seats 8 of your friends, neighbors, family, coworkers, etc.
Hostesses will:
- Invite 7 ladies to sit at your table
- Setup table ahead of time, Monday night or Tuesday afternoon. Decorate with your own them, no santa’s please)
- Provide appetizers/desserts/drinks/dinnerware for your guests. (coffee, tea, lemonade and water provided, please provide your own cups/glasses)
- White linen tablecloths provided for both food and dining tables
- Use a centerpiece, candles (glass containers only please), be creative
- Encourage guests to dress up for this festive night
- Please let your guests know that there is NO charge for the evening but there will be a free will offering benefitting Luke Project 52 Clinic
- Program lasts about 2-2.5 hours
- Providing a small favor for your guests is optional

Blood Drive

St. Peter Adult Choir
The St. Peter Adult Choir rehearses on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. in the Music Room. Open to adults and high school students, the Adult Choir sings regularly at 8:00 and 9:30 Divine Service on Sundays, in addition to occasional Saturday services (6:00 p.m.) and for festival dates and other occasions. St. Peter school has earned over $46,000 through the years just by collecting Box Tops from hundreds of General Mills products. It’s even easier to earn now, no clipping involved! Just buy any Box Tops products, scan your receipt (paper or digital) using the app and earn cash for our school. The Box Top app can be downloaded from the Apple Store or Google Play. Then create a profile and find St. Peter Lutheran School to receive the earnings. With an expanding school enrollment and additional opportunities for our students, free cash can always be put to good use.
CAMPUS CONNECT
Do you have former students attending college in the state of Michigan? Michigan and English District’s university campus ministries as well as local pastors and congregations are ready to engage with your college students this fall. Campus Ministry provides a nurturing environment where students can thrive and find belonging within a faith community during their time at school. Join us in creating meaningful connections and fostering spiritual growth among the next generation of leaders. Kroger shoppers who are enrolled in the Community Rewards program can help groups at St. Peter Macomb by linking their Plus Card Rewards to a specific organization. Currently, there are three groups benefiting from this program: Hope For The Hungry Pantry, St. Peter Lutheran SCRIP and St. Peter Student Ministry. Please consider helping one of these groups grow their ministry by following the steps below. You can choose to enroll online or through the phone app.
Nursing Home Ministry
Everyone is welcome to join us on the fourth Thursday of each month as we gather at The Orchards – Armada Village to sing and have a short devotion with the residents. We begin at the assisted living building (Pineview) and then walk over to the skilled nursing building. We start at 10:30 a.m. Afterwards, we plan to go to Papa’s Restaurant in downtown Armada for lunch at noon. Please call Lois Bellhorn (586) 770-3002 if you have any questions. No need to RSVP. We’d love to have you join us as we share God’s love in Word and song!
