God’s Word for Today

God’s Word for Today Bible Study You are invited to attend the new Sunday morning Bible study that begins September 7 at 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Paul’s letter to the Ephesians is about the church and about the fellowship of believers who make up the church. It is about us, for by faith we are the church in our time and place. We, by God’s grace, are part of God’s family – a family united in Christ and sustained by the Holy Spirit.

Men’s Group

Monthly Men’s Gatherings will be held on the 3rd Monday of each month starting September 15. We will meet at the Hamlin Pub (VanDyke and 25 Mile) at 7:00 p.m. You are invited to join us for a time of “Connection and Conversation.” Question? Contact Pastor Ken at kwise@splcs.net or 586-871-4891.

Foundations: Miracles

Led by Chris Oberly. Sunday mornings beginning September 14, 9:30 a.m. (Art Room – Formerly Large Conference Room)

S.A.L.T.

S.A.L.T. (Seasoned Adults Living Triumphantly), led by Pastor Arendell, is a Bible study for those ages 55+ on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. starting September 9. The S.A.L.T. group engages in Bible studies and other events throughout the year.

New Member Class

Are you interested in joining our congregation or just want a refresher on what we believe and teach? Join us for our New Member class in the Fellowship Hall on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. starting September 9.

Confirmation Class

7th & 8th grade Confirmation classes for St. Peter school and public school students happens on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. (Rooms 29 & 30) and Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. (Fellowship Hall – South). If you have not already, please register your child at stpetermacomb.com.

Myth or Faith: Part 2

Discerning the Voice of God – Women’s Bible Study

Has hearing from God seemed challenging to you? Do you struggle to know if it really is His voice you hear? This study will invite you to a more intimate relationship with Him, one that can make hearing Him – His will, His heart, and His voice – your ongoing experience. Discover how you can listen with greater confidence, clarity, and discernment. Join us for a 7-month, bi-weekly, in-person Bible Study. This video and book study offers you a fellowship and accountability with other women in a large and small group setting. We look forward to growing together while each of us grows closer in our walk with Jesus. Come as you are with expectant hearts to watch and experience all God has for us during this 7-month study. Men’s Bible Breakfast

Led by Erv Aufdemberge. Tuesdays at 7:00 a.m. (Country Inn Restaurant – 23 Mile and Romeo Plank) Come join a small group of men as we wander our way through the books of the Bible. This is a weekly 50 to 60 minute time for study and discussion. We take turns around the table reading passages and then discuss the reading in a group setting. After closing you may stay, have breakfast and enjoy fellowship with each other.

Women in the Word

Wednesdays, starting September 10, 9:30 a.m. -11:00 a.m. We will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall—plenty of parking (Handicap near Door #1 or Preschool Parking Lot). Enter Door #1. Moms (& Women) In Prayer

Moms…and women! Join us each week as we pray for our children, schools, and community. Groups meet Mondays from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (Zoom), Tuesdays in-person from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at His Rock, and Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. (Zoom). Sunday School

St. Peter SONdays. Cool! Kids 3 years (potty-trained) – 6th grade (including additional support for kids with special needs) learn more about Jesus…the SON of God…our Savior! Sundays from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Sunday, September 7, join us in the Crossroads for a “Rally Day” ice cream/open house and an opportunity for kids and parents to meet age/grade-level leaders.
